Today's Tasty Tuesday is a pretty simple crock pot recipe that I came up with called Taco Chili.
Taco Chili
Ok so I don't have exact measurements so please forgive me for that. I kind of just throw everything together in the crock pot and let it go all day on low.
What you need:
1 pound of hamburger cooked and drained
1 family size can of kidney beans
1 can of crushed or cubed tomatoes which ever you prefer
1 can of corn (do not drain)
1 packet of taco seasoning
*Sometimes if it is not spicy enough I will add chili powder to it.
Directions:
Easy just dump it all in your crock pot and turn it on low for the day. Because everything is already cooked you can warm it for as long as it takes to warm everything through. I find the longer you let it cook on low the more the flavors mix.
You can serve with tortilla chips. The scoops work great then you don't need to use a spoon. Also you can top the chili with your favorite toppings. We use cheddar cheese, salsa and sour cream.
