Family Friday

So it's Friday! Time for another Family Friday post where you get to learn a little more about my family.

So this Friday I will tell you that I am a homeschooling mom. I just started last year. I have always wanted to homeschool but never took the time to find out what to do. Last year I kinda dove right in and started. I really love it and happy that I decided to do it. My daughter is in 3rd grade and my son is in 1st. They really enjoy it as well.

Of course I can't leave out a little something about my youngest two boys. My 2 year old woke up yesterday morning and told me "I'm not a baby any more." I guess that was an over night transformation or something because that was the first thing he told me when he walked into my room. My 8 month old learned to wave yesterday. I have no idea why but he just started waving. It was so darn cute. He was smiling so big!

So there you go. A little something about my family :) If there is something you would like to know and want to ask me let me know. I will be happy to tell you.

  7. @MJB I love Homeschooling! It is one of the best things I think I could've done for my family. My daughter actually went to school for Kindergarten and 1st grade. She liked school but she really loves homeschooling. We set our own time which means for her she can sleep in. My son likes to get things done as soon as he can. He is a 1st grader and loves doing work sheets. He has a huge joy for learning. I think with homeschooling them he wouldn't be as far as he is now. He is a grade above what he would be in school. His sister taught him how to spell his name and she taught him to read. They feed off of each other when learning. He can even answer some of her math and that makes her mad. It is fun to teach and watch them learn and grow.

  11. What a beautiful family portrait and so unique with the tree. This would look awesome in a black and white print hanging on your wall ha. I get excited over photos.
I think it is wonderful that you are a homeschooling family. I was able to home-school my youngest for two years but was a busy working mom the rest of the time.
Your little ones sound so delightful. I'm glad you are enjoying them while they are young. They grow up so fast.
