TheraBreath Review and Giveaway

I recently had the chance to review a few products from TheraBreath. Last week I received the TheraBreath Tooth Paste, TheraBreath Oral Rinse and TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges.

Are you someone who suffers from bath breath or know someone that does? Sometimes having bath breath or knowing a person who does can be a very touchy subject. I know I have pretty bad morning breath. My husband also suffers from bath breath mainly because of tonsil stones.

So what can you do to help with bad breath? You can start with finding products that will help you out. So here are a few products that I was able to try.

TheraBreath Toothpaste:

Brush with this toothpaste twice a day and you will stop bad breath, guaranteed! This formula is also great for gum health and nothing is more powerful at fighting cavities. Therabreath Toothpaste is designed to control the anaerobic bacteria that causes bad breath.

I have now have been brushing with TheraBreath Toothpaste for a week. This toothpaste has a baking soda taste with a minty after taste. I know there are a lot of people out there who are thinking baking soda toothpaste?! Yuck! Really it isn't that bad once you use it more than one time. My husband wasn't much on the taste either but I think he was really impressed after one use how fresh my breath and his smelled. My teeth even felt cleaner.

TheraBreath Oral Rinse:

Stop your bad breath and end chronic halitosis by using TheraBreath Oral Rinse after brushing with TheraBreath Toothpaste. This amazing rinse uses the odor-obliterating power of OXYD-8 for treating bad breath, stopping halitosis and eliminating sour, bitter and metallic tastes in your mouth.

After using the toothpaste I used the TheraBreath Oral Rinse. It is recommended to use it 2-3 times a day. So what did the rinse taste like? It tasted like rinsing with water. The rinse also had a minty after taste. I asked my kids to smell my breath and tell me what they thought after I brushed and used the mouth wash. They said my breath smelled like minty gum. That was a good enough answer for me. Those two love gum!

TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges:

Our unique Lozenges are unlike any breath mint you have ever tried. They work in three distinct stages to make sure your mouth is fresh, moist, and healthy. This three stage approach is not only unique, but incredibly effective at controlling dry mouth and bad breath odor.

Last I got to try the TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges. It is recommended that you use these lozenges whenever your mouth feels dry or you experience a bad flavor in your mouth. I believe these have a similar taste to altoids. It is a very strong minty taste that leaves your mouth feeling fresh. I usually pop one of these in my mouth when I have just ate something strong such as sour cream and onion chips. These are a good little lozenges to keep on hand when you are out and about. Just throw a few in your bag and pop one in your mouth when you need it. I personally am not a fan of gum so having mints on hand is a great thing for me.

So while reviewing the TheraBreath products I also learned something new. I have had some of those nasty little canker sores in my mouth before. Just recently my daughter who is 8 was also complaining of having one. I found out while doing this review that those nasty little sores are caused by sodium lauryl sulfate or SLS.
SLS is an ingredient that many toothpaste manufacturers include to create a foaming action in your mouth when you brush. It's actually SOAP. There is absolutely NO benefit to SLS, it just gives the impression that the toothpaste is doing its job — it's also used in many shampoos to create a similar foaming while washing. Sounds harmless right? Wrong. It has been proven in research that SLS is so harsh that it can damage the oral tissue that lines the inside of your mouth on a microscopic level. It also dries out your mouth. This can lead to (you've guessed it!) a canker sore.

Interesting right? We are brushing with soap! That is another great thing about TheraBreath it does not contain SLS. You learn something new every day they say. I certainly did.

So if you are looking for a product to help fight off bad breath then I recommend TheraBreath.

Now for the fun I get to give one of my lucky followers a set that includes 1 tube of of the TheraBreath Toothpaste and 1 bottle of the TheraBreath Oral Rinse. (Please US residents only and if you have won TheraBreath products before please refrain from entering so others can try the products.)

  7. This sounds exactly like a product I need! I do worry about bad breath, but I can't use most mints because they are too strong. I would rather go to the source of bad breath, anyway. Sounds great! Thanks!
