Yes I have been slacking on my Family Friday.  Mainly because I am spending time with my family and I forget to post on Fridays lol.  My little Jedi turned 6 years old and we had his party this past weekend...

Family Friday

It's Friday! Yes I know I am slacking at Family Friday but I have a great reason. I am actually spending it with my family. Last week the weather was so nice I spent it outside with my kids. It is usually freezing in the winter but we actually had 70 degree weather! It was so wonderful!

Ok if you know my family you know my mom would kill me for this picture. She hates having her picture taken. I am just glad I get some of her even though she doesn't like it.

And my 5 year old is missing in action. This is a normal thing. I think he hates having his picture taken too!

Family Friday

Wow this is my first Family Friday of the new year. For give me because I have been slacking a little on my blog. With homeschooling I have been a little slack with posting. I am trying to get through finishing up homeschooling with the kiddos. Right now I am in a review process with them.

Anyway we are still doing fun things. I just have not posted about much. The latest thing we did was last Friday. My husband had the day off so we took the kids to the Science Museum.

Family Friday

It's Friday! Time for Family Friday! Wow first can time slow down? We are already in November! So Halloween was interesting this year. My 2 year old decided he wanted nothing to do with dressing up. This is a first for us because all of our kids have loved dressing up. The kids were all supposed to be super heroes. My daughter was Spider Girl, my 5 year old son was Iron Man, my 2 year old was supposed to be Superman, and my baby was The Hulk. Unfortunately we did not get pictures of them. It was raining...(we will take pictures of them later and I will post those)

So I had to think of something to get my 2 year old to dress up. He has a blue camo superman shirt. It has the logo on it. I was racking my brain and then thought of my Trick or Treat Thursday post with the little boy dressed as Clark Kent. Yes! What a great idea right? I had him put on the shirt with the logo on it. Put on his church shirt and pants and added some of his dad's old glasses! Yes I did get a quick picture of him with my cell phone...

Some people thought he was Harry Potter. I told them he was Clark Kent. They all loved him. I will tell you this...my kids all went to the same house to get candy but this cutie pie ended up with a lot more candy! lol

Oh and while searching for this picture on my phone I did find one of the baby as The Hulk...

He would have nothing to do with the little hat that goes with this. I don't blame him though. It was a little tight on his head.

Kids sprayed with silly string. Funny story about this. My husband was supposed to buy me red hair spray for my costume. Well the silly string and hair spray were on the same rack and both had red tops. He grabbed the silly string. I always look at stuff before I use it and noticed he got the wrong thing. I went up to him and told him he failed with the hair spray. He was looking all confused when I held up the can and sprayed him with silly string. So later that night he decided to spray the kids. They have never seen silly string before. It was so funny cause they were grossed out at first. Ha! Gotta love it!

Family Friday

Today is Friday! I am so happy! We had a crazy weekend last week. My best friend who lived in Virginia moved a few years ago to Ohio. The move was for medical reasons for her youngest son. Then a few weeks ago I found out she was going to move to California because her hubby got promoted. I was so sad :( Thankfully they were going to a Virgina Tech game so we decided to go see her before she moved again.

Our trip we thought was going to be smooth sailing. We just got new front tires on the van, new front brakes, the van inspected and new tags. So we thought we were good to go. While almost to VT the van started acting weird. The van wouldn't accelerate and it was shaky. Fun times. So long story short we only got to spend 2 hours with my best friend.

We decided to head back home but on the way my hubby was afraid that the van would mess up again and we'd be stuck somewhere at night. So he called someone he worked with and told them he would not be in on Monday. We stayed the night. Of course the van started acting fine. We thought all was good. We decided to make a detour and went to Crabtree Falls.

Of course on our way back home the van messed up again. Fun times I tell ya! My hubby pulled over and as he was checking under the hood of the van we noticed someone slowing down. Your initial thought would be they were going to ask if everything was ok right? Well that was our thought. No! They slowed down to ask if they were close to the falls! EPIC FAIL! I couldn't believe it. My husband and I were dumbfounded. All we did after that was laugh. Good grief what is the world coming to?

Sorry for the long post. We made it home ok but still not sure what is wrong with the van. A friend of ours thinks it could be a fuel sensor. So hopefully we will figure it out soon.

Family Friday

It's Friday! Time for Family Friday! We had a great weekend and week. Last Friday my sister and her boyfriend decided to watch the kids so we could go out on a date.


On Saturday my kids got to play their first soccer game of the season. Red Barnacles and Carolina Eagles! They are both #5 this year :) We celebrated with lunch at Cici's Pizza.


Later that night we took a few family photos.




On Sunday we took some photos of our friends. Don't have any previews of the pictures yet. Hopefully soon :)

On Wednesday my hubby took our daughter to a Daddy Daughter Luau at our church.



Yesterday my baby turned 10 months old :( Getting so sad about that. Time needs to slow down...So of course that called for some more pictures right? Yes!

Family Friday

It's Friday! Time for Family Friday! So we have had a busy week this week. Going places and keeping busy. We have some very exciting news this week. Yesterday my sister in law had her very first baby! So my husband is a first time uncle. Although he still counts my nieces and nephew as his. I have been an aunt since I was 2!

I was hoping this Friday I would have soccer pictures to post. Nope because of so much rain I don't have any. So I am hoping next week. Instead I have picked a few pictures from my phone to post. They are not the best but still cute.

Family Friday

Yes it is Friday!!! It is time for Family Friday!



Well as you can see by the pictures we recently went and played putt putt. We went Monday evening and there was only one other family there. It is always so nice to get out and do something with the kids. All of us love playing putt putt.

So I had a pretty awesome week. The kids did not complain about doing their homeschooling. No tears shed. (math has been hard for my daughter) The house got cleaned with no complaints and we had some friends over last night for dinner. What a great week!

Family Friday

It's Friday and it's time for Family Friday! I have had a pretty good week. Busy with homeschooling and yesterday I had a jewelry party with one of my friends who does lia sophia. I found out that my 5 year old would be really good at selling jewelry. I had a party with my friend a few months ago and he remembered what was old and he could tell you what was new. He was so funny. I guess he is preparing for his future wife. He already proposed with a candy ring to a little girl he has been in love with at church for a few years. She turned him down every time but finally told him yes. The candy ring must have done the trick.

My baby had his 9 month check up Monday and is 22 lbs 10 ozs and 29 3/4 inches long. He is also starting to get himself into trouble. His new trick is climbing the stairs. He thinks it is so funny. We do have a gate to put up but I forget sometimes. Here is a picture of him with me following behind him.



My daughter also had a check up this week. She has 20/20 vision which makes me very happy because both my husband and I wear glasses. She is in the 75th percentile for height and weight.

My other booger who is 2 is just as wild as ever. He somehow managed to do a flip off of a speaker or whatever my husband has on the floor. Now he didn't mean to flip and you could tell from the stunned look on his face. Poor thing! He was ok. No boo boos at all because he did a perfect flip off of it. Maybe he will become a stunt double!

Oh and I don't think I have mentioned but my oldest two are starting up soccer next weekend. This is their 3rd season so you will see a lot of soccer photos on Family Fridays!

Family Friday

It's Friday! Lets jump and shout! Ok not much jumping for me today. I have been so sick the past few days. My hubby was sick over the weekend and I just got sick Wednesday evening. I am feeling a little better now. You know when you start feeling better and you decide to do something because you feel better then it bites you in the butt and you start feeling worse? Yeah that happened to me. I rested and felt better. So I decided to clean and cook. Then I started feeling horrible again. Anyway Fridays are my favorite blogging days because it is Family Friday.


I wanted to post a scrap booking page that I did from my review found here. I just love the way it turned out. These are older pictures but they are some of my favorite of my kids. My baby just turned 9 months old on the 6th. I can't believe he is already 9 months! My two oldest are getting ready for soccer season to start up and my 2 year old is the cutest little stinker you will ever meet. You see that adorable smile on his face. Let me tell you he is trouble! Gotta love him though.

It's Friday! That means it is time for Family Friday!!! A few weeks ago we went to a Hot Air Balloon Festival. The kids loved watching the balloons being blown up and then fly away. I wish I could have been in one of them but it can run a couple hundred dollars just to go in one. One day I hope I will get to do it. It is on my bucket list :) So do you all have a bucket list? What is one thing that is on yours?

Today is Friday! I get to share a little about my family today!


I am glad I am posting this soon. I actually thought I would be missing in action for a few more days because of my 8 month old having a nursing strike. Yesterday I spent all day cuddling and loving on him (more than usual). He nursed all day yesterday!

The above picture was taken with my hubby's cell phone so it isn't the best quality. This was taken on my husband's work building. We got to visit him at work because they were having an ice-cream fund raiser for a hurricane relief. The kids love to visit their daddy at work and adding ice-cream to the mix makes it even more fun.

So what does my husband do? He is a major computer nerd lol! He works for the state in the Department of Correctional Education. He is the webmaster. He doesn't work in the prison or anything but he has had to visit a few before. He also has a side business. He wrote a program for a guy who used to work for Toyota and the guy sells it to Toyota. He is currently working on a couple other programs. On top of that he fixes computers, builds computers, builds websites for other people who need them and any other nerdy computer stuff. I love my nerd!

Also we have a side business together. We have a photo company called ClickHappy Photo. Unfortunately I don't get to do much yet because of my little ones keeping me busy. We also have ClickHappy Studio. We just do random pictures we can sell as photos on there.

Ok so there is a little something about my family. Well mostly my husband. If there is anything you would like to know ask me and I will be happy to answer.

So it's Friday! Time for another Family Friday post where you get to learn a little more about my family.


So this Friday I will tell you that I am a homeschooling mom. I just started last year. I have always wanted to homeschool but never took the time to find out what to do. Last year I kinda dove right in and started. I really love it and happy that I decided to do it. My daughter is in 3rd grade and my son is in 1st. They really enjoy it as well.

Of course I can't leave out a little something about my youngest two boys. My 2 year old woke up yesterday morning and told me "I'm not a baby any more." I guess that was an over night transformation or something because that was the first thing he told me when he walked into my room. My 8 month old learned to wave yesterday. I have no idea why but he just started waving. It was so darn cute. He was smiling so big!

I am a mom of 4. As you can see 1 little girl and 3 boys. (ages 8, 5, 2, and 8 months on the 6th) I have been married to my husband for 9 years.
